The Venturesome Voyages Of Captain Voss
is is a great book about what man can really live trough, no weeping and psychoanalyzing, just living, and with ... sustained humour and sense for the good things life have to offer.
good times bad times
i got this book from an elder old friend, who kind of secretly handed it over to me and said "tor, you better read this, i have read it every ten years or so nd it strengthens me every time, it conatins a bit of sailing termes but if you just skim through thoose short bits if its getting too much your in for a good reading" - or something, i dont recall exatly what he said but the essence was that that i wrote.
several years later i read it. Afterwords the meaning of hes words had a really sensable meaning to me ( before they had a tiny tuch of "snowed in" attached to them i thought )
